she can remember. She believes a positive attitude, the ability to only focus on those things you are passionate about and
having a clear life plan in place can accomplish mountains! Lisa has been a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show,
and more. She is a bestselling author, the creator/host of "The Organizing Minute" - the country's
first daily organizing feature on radio, and currently is the organizing segment reporter for two network affiliate TV
news programs in Connecticut.
Her expertise wraps around de-cluttering & organizational skills
for the home and office, time management, work/life balance, motivation, goal setting & goal achievement, life mapping
and the craft of writing (books, columns). Lisa is a member of the prestigious
NSA (National Speakers Association), member of NSA-CT, member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), Past
President/executive board member of NAPO-CT and member of ICF (International Coach Federation).
Her first book, SIMPLE STEPS: 10 Weeks to Getting Control Of Your Life (NAL-Penguin Books, 2003) continues to sell well in
book stores throughout the world. The audio book version of Simple Steps (6 CD set/Blackstone Audiobooks) was ranked #1 audio
book Summer/2005 in the Inspiration/self help genre, for which Lisa was nominated and received a bronze medal at the Audie
Awards that year (the "Academy Awards" of audio book publishing!). SIMPLE STEPS For Every Holiday was published
in 2004 and a wall calendar version of the Simple Steps lifestyle makeover program was published in 2008 by TidePress Publishing.
Lisa's motivational and inspirational stories and columns have graced the pages of many national
magazines and can be read weekly and monthly in many New England publications and on the web. Her column, 'Life Styling' runs
in the ShoreView Pages of The New Haven Register, Home Living Connecticut Magazine, and Hometown publications 'Living
on the Shoreline', 'Living in Farmington Valley' and 'Living in West Hartford'.
In 2006, Lisa launched "Blooming Bins" a retail line of elegant floral crafted storage bins she still
personally creates by hand and personally signs each piece.
Lisa lives on the Connecticut
shoreline with her husband, John and two daughters, Lindsay and Lexy...and their little maltese, Daisy. As a writer
and life coach, much of Lisa's inspiration comes from spending time with her family at their lake house up in
Vermont.
