"It's Good to be Organized!"
From Backpacks to Bedrooms
Learning about the importance of organization in the classroom
Studies indicate that children who are taught good
organizational skills in their early school years go on to do better academically in high school, college and
even thrive better in the business world!

Lisa's in-classroom
presentation "IT'S GOOD TO BE ORGANIZED" is geared for Elementary and Middle School aged children. It
can also taught as part of extra curricular programs, such as Brownies, Cub Scouts, Sunday school, play groups, etc.
The NAPO in the schools program was developed by the National Association of Professional Organizers in 2007 with the
goal of reaching thousands of children to help them understand the importance of organization and how to get
organized! The Children's group presentation can be presented to any size group of children and includes
fun visual demos, hands-on organizing exercises and Q & A to keep their attention. Presentations are 40 minutes long and
can be done inside one classroom or done with combined classes in a larger space, such as a school library, cafe
or gym. Take home flyers to initiate conversation between parent/child about the importance of
organization will be distributed to the kids as part of the program. There is
no fee for the presentation given in schools.
